Welcome to Learning Strides

Building...one stride at a time!
Building...one stride at a time!

Every child learns in their own unique way, at their own pace, and with their own spark. For my son, who is four years old, the journey has been filled with both challenges and incredible triumphs. He is navigating significant speech delays, and while that comes with its hurdles, it also gives us the gift of seeing progress in the most meaningful, joyful ways.

Words don’t always come easily for him, but his spirit, his joy, and his determination shine through in ways that leave me in awe. The sound he practices again and again until it finally sticks, the new word whispered with pride, the spark in his eyes when he’s understood; these are the moments that feel monumental, even if they might seem small to others.

I created Learning Strides as a place to celebrate these victories. This isn’t just about challenges; it’s about growth, resilience, and the beauty of slow, steady progress. It’s about honoring his journey step by step, and reminding myself (and maybe others walking a similar path) that progress looks different for every child, and that’s something to embrace.

I’ll be sharing stories, reflections, and updates along the way. My hope is that this space shines a light on how much there is to celebrate in every step forward - no matter how big or small.

Welcome to Learning Strides!! Here's to growth, resilience, and the joy of learning—one stride at a time.
